Farming
A multitude of agricultural practices present the opportunity to significantly increase the amount of carbon stored in long-term carbon pools including soil organic matter and plant biomass, while supporting food production, rural economies, and ecological health. Engaging Agriculture
CCI provides education, training, and mentoring to conservation partners, producer groups, and individual farmers and ranchers. Our carbon farming framework builds on and supports existing conservation programs provided by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, local Resource Conservation Districts, and extension services. CCI is committed to ensuring agricultural producers have access to technical assistance and funding support. Learn more about CCI’s support programs
Policy
Scaling agricultural climate solutions relies on strong policy support at regional, state, and national levels. Learn more about CCI’s policy programs
